One of the missions of AMDA-MINDS is to promote social education and raise awareness and understanding of international cooperation among Japanese citizens. In order to share its knowledge and experiences with Japanese society that we have acquired through the overseas projects, AMDA-MINDS regularly holds presentation meetings to report progress and outcomes of the projects to donors and the general public. It also runs booths in the international cooperation festivals to publicize NGO activities, and gives lectures at schools to encourage the students to learn the importance of international contribution. Additionally, AMDA-MINDS is entrusted with “NGO Consultant” by MOFA and accommodates citizen’s queries about international cooperation and NGO activities.
